Lens behaviour, stated plainly
The sun lens is polarized with UV400 protection: it cuts horizontal glare from wet roads, water and glass while keeping colours neutral. The yellow lens is deliberately bright rather than dark — it filters the short blue-violet wavelengths where LED headlight glare concentrates, so oncoming traffic softens into a defined shape and lane markings, kerbs and pedestrians come back into definition in rain, fog or dusk. It is a contrast lens for low light, not a substitute for sunglasses in direct sun.
