Description
Most rose gold reading glasses on a wholesale line card are drawn to the same 31 to 34 mm lens height. They photograph beautifully and sell once. The DAQRI YHC-9005 is built 39 mm tall, and that single number is the reason this frame earns a permanent slot in an assortment rather than a seasonal one.
Rose gold reading glasses with a 39 mm lens: why height decides reorder rate
Presbyopia does not just blur the page, it shrinks the zone where the page is sharp. At +1.00 a wearer can still hunt for the right distance and find it. At +3.00 and above the clear zone is small and fixed, so the wearer has to hold the material at one precise angle and keep it there.
A short lens forces the eye to travel to the edge of the frame within two or three lines of text. The reader tips their chin, the frame slides, they push it back up, and by the third paragraph they have taken the glasses off. That is how a reader becomes a one-time purchase and a return.
At 39 mm of vertical lens the clear zone sits inside the frame instead of at its boundary. Reading a paperback, a prescription label, a spreadsheet printout or a sewing pattern then stays comfortable for a full session rather than a page. For your +2.50 to +4.00 customers this is the difference between a frame they wear and a frame they keep in a drawer.
The design brief: a metal frame that reads as jewellery
The front is a soft oval in brushed rose gold, 52 mm wide, held by a 17 mm bridge that sits high on the nose rather than pressing on the sides. Silicone nose pads are adjustable, so the same SKU fits a 60 mm and a 64 mm pupillary distance without a second size.
The temple is where the frame earns its margin on a display wall. Two parallel rails run the length of the arm with fine cross-bars between them, a ladder detail that catches light from across a room and reads as deliberate design at arm’s length rather than as decoration applied afterwards.
Temple tips are moulded in deep wine acetate, and the two-tone finish is the point: rose gold at the front, burgundy behind the ear. That combination photographs warm under shop lighting and cool in daylight, so it looks expensive in the case and still looks expensive in a customer’s own photo.

The 24 g figure is honest. The extra mass is in the taller lens and the reinforced twin-rail temple, and it buys back the stability that lighter readers lose the moment a wearer tilts their head down. On the nose it sits like a frame, not like a clip.
Where rose gold reading glasses sell
- Optical retail floor. These rose gold reading glasses are the add-on sale at the counter, for a customer who has just been prescribed a distance correction and needs a pair for the desk.
- Boutique and concept retail. Two-tone metal is the fastest-moving colour story in women’s readers, and this frame does not need a branded display to justify a premium price point.
- Gift and seasonal. Mother’s Day, December gifting and any for-her capsule. It arrives ready for a gift box and a card, and the colour survives being photographed on a phone.
- Online. The ladder temple gives you a macro shot, the two-tone gives you a flat lay, and the 39 mm lens gives you a reason to write a page that ranks.
Ordering, samples and powers
Samples of these rose gold reading glasses are USD 4.00 per pair and the minimum order is one pair, so you can put the frame on a real face before you commit to a line. Seven powers run from +1.00 to +4.00 in 0.50D steps, all on one SKU family, which means one page, one carton and seven reorder points.
DDP delivery is available to the EU, US, Canada, Australia, Japan and South Korea, with DHL, FedEx and UPS for other markets. Private label is available on this frame: temple marking, lens cloth, case and hangtag.
Compare the rest of the collection on the reading glasses category page, or look at the wine red vintage oval and the silver unisex reader for private label.
Questions buyers ask
Will a 39 mm lens look too large on a narrow face?
It sits taller than a standard oval, not wider. The 52 mm lens width and 137 mm overall width keep it in proportion on a narrow face, because the extra height runs vertically into the cheek line rather than out toward the temple.
Can I stock only the higher powers?
Yes. Colour and power are independent and mixed cartons are standard. Most buyers open with +1.50 to +3.00 and add +3.50 and +4.00 once the frame proves itself.
Is the rose gold finish durable?
The front is a plated metal alloy, not a painted plastic. Normal care with a microfibre cloth, and no alcohol spray on the plating, keeps the tone, which is why a lens cloth travels in the box.
